As someone who used to hang out on various music forums...a human recommendation based on careful analysis of your last.fm scrobbles was infinitely more useful and accurate than anything Pandora/YouTube/Spotify/Tidal ever recommended me. Humans can infer not just what you like, but what you don't like.
To clarify: Blue Burst was actually the PC port. [0] I put alot of time into that one, once an English patch became available on Schtserv. They made a bunch of the perks/models available to everyone that were previously only available to Sega employees and holidays. Running through the game with a trio of friends, all skinned as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, is one of my treasured gaming memories.
Thank you for the clarification! When you say you put a lot of time in do you mean as a developer or just game time? I find it facinating how that worked. I personally enjoyed the game cube version but the time to actually port it and get it work on PC most have been fairly interesting!

As a gamer, not as a developer. I can only dream of accomplishing some of the reverse-engineering those guys have to do to setup private servers and the like!
Reiko Kodama did some incredible work for Sega, Skies of Arcadia probably being her most notable after Phantasy Star. She unfortunately passed away in 2022, and it took some months before anyone was even aware of it due to her family's desire for privacy.

The original creator of Bitwarden still works there as a CTO. I am curious whether he has any failsafes/poison pills in his contract when he took VC money that allows him to fork the product and start over in the event that they decide they want to lock everything down.
Or did he sign all of those rights away when he took the $100M "fuck you" VC funding in 2022.
There would be nothing preventing him in the source license, but I'm saying he may be prevented as part of the contract he signed when he sold the company.
I'm still using uMatrix in Firefox. I just find the UI at once both more granular and easier to grok than uB0's Advanced mode. Despite being deprecated, it still works.
Unfortunately, I'll probably have to drop it soon, because there are too many pages going behind Cloudflare's damn "Verify you are human" Challenge page, which seems irrecoverably broken by uMatrix. No amount of whitelisting or logger analysis seems to make it happy, short of full-blown add-on disablement. I've had to keep Falkon handy as a backup for a few mission-critical websites that just absolutely refuse to work under uMatrix.
It will start with subpoenaing this information against people who modified their car to do "bad" things. But once they have the precedent, I would predict that it will very quickly be used at the behest of car manufacturers to go after people who modify their cars to, say, disable GPS tracking.
Sony already sent people to prison for developing a way to let users jailbreak their PS3's. And the jailbreak was just to re-enable features that Sony advertised at launch then took away after people bought the consoles.
The writing on the wall seems to have been when they suddenly doubled the price of a yearly subscription without notifying anyone. That struck me as skeezy as **...looks like it may just be the beginning.
I hope people are actively mirroring their GH repos, because I expect at some point they might suddenly decide to change the license to Proprietary and move to scrub the repos from the web. At which point, the community will then fork the last-free version and start to maintain a fork.
Which I really don't want to see happen, because having to move all my shit for myself and my family again after the LastPass debacle is going to be an extraordinary headache.
