Oops'd away $50k in half a day by accidentally having two Cloudtrails enabled and running a bunch process that made lots of API calls. Concession got denied on that one.

Protip: Cloudtrails events are free the first time they're processed but are fairly expensive any subsequent times (i.e. two trails in the same region)
