If it can run programs, it can run an mail client. Even an exchange client. "it won't have an email client" is not part of the hardware design, it's just that the software hasn't been written/ported yet.

sometimes I wonder if MS's exchange has got so complicated that they could not contemplate writing a new client from scratch.
